Friends of Beeston
The Friends of Beeston (FoBs) are a voluntary group who support school activities and encourage co-operation between parents, guardians, pupils, and the school.
FoBs were founded in 2011 by a group of parents who wanted to organise social events for parents. In typical Beeston style, they have since become an established part of the school.
Each year a new Friends of Beeston committee is formed, along with the appointment of new FoB representatives for each year group. The committee plans a variety of social events and regular coffee mornings, to which all are welcome.
Our FoB’s main aims are based around social support, but they have managed to raise considerable funds over the years for the school’s chosen charities as well as specific school projects. Their value and endeavour cannot be understated.
