Vision, values, & aims

To inspire, and nurture, spirited and confident children
Our vision

Our vision

Everything begins with our conviction that happy children are the most ready to learn

Academic success is central, yet forms only part of the all-round development of Beeston children. Our activities focus on the many aspects of character development: the personal and social, the creative and physical, the moral and spiritual, and the logical and linguistic. Recognising these enables us to maximise the chances of success so that the children are committed to their own growth.

Our values

Three key values inform everything we do:

  • Purpose:  Instilling a love of learning across a broad curriculum, enabling children to achieve their very best both in and outside of the classroom
  • Resilience:  Encouraging children to explore beyond their comfort zone, to not be afraid of failing, and to aim high in all things
  • Empathy:  Teaching children to learn to work with, and care for, themselves and others

Our aims

We encourage Beeston children to:

  1. Respect and appreciate themselves, others, their environment, and the wider world
  2. Undertake learning with energy and independence – with the confidence to embrace challenges
  3. Have the self-belief to aim high, be adventurous and open-minded

To implement these aims, Beeston always:

  • Aims for excellence and quality in all areas, maximizing our idyllic setting
  • Ensures that each child is given the individual care needed to be the very best of him/herself
  • Offers enrichment and a passion for learning through experience
  • Places emotional intelligence on an equal footing with academic teaching
